With regard to sensitivity of landscape, there is great consensus to not over build or over develop in the countryside. Instead of building out, perhaps building up may be something to consider. In my studies I fathomed the concept of a singular place in which every service is provided: school, groceries, garage, retail, recreation & housing. By adding up the square meterage of all the existing public buildings in the village; this is how the scale of the cornucopia would be conceived. This construct would exist instead of all that is existing. One could exist in every village although all would be unique to place according to socio-economic needs; the Cornucopia in Doolin would differ to the Cornucopia in Lahinch. Such a place would surely become somewhat of a deity; a titan which provides for all.
